Easter

Oh Jack, what is that face? We tried to get a good picture. I love these wonderful people and my kids looked more beautiful than I imagined.

We tried, but they were too tired to wait for a good one. They really looked so cute.

Our Little Princess. I have always wanted to put a big cupcake dress on my daughter for Easter. This is after a good nap and a crawl around church. She didn't seem to mind it either.

I am so very grateful for this Easter Season. We have loved being able to testify to our kids about Christ. We are so humbly grateful for the wonderful sacrifice He made for us and we know that because of Him we are eternal. We were able to have a few fhe's on Easter. I will never forget the Spirit that we felt as we told the kids about the week before Christ's resurrection. Even Ben was quiet and very attentive. I'm so happy and grateful that I know the truth and I get to teach it to my children.

My little angels after a long day at church. Church during nap time leads to some very sad kids:(

The whole Elggren group minus Brad Jayme and Dan and Staci. We missed you guys. I can't believe how big these kids have gotten. That's Lily in Ashton's arms. Just before pictures Girlfriend had a blow out and that was it of the cupcake dress I have dreamt about since I found I was having a girl. (It actually came completely clean wahoo!)

Easter Morning

We usually do Easter baskets for FHE, but we had so much time Sunday morning so we went ahead and did them. Lily loved it. Isn't that doll cute?!

Girlfriend got her very own sunglasses. Looking like mama more everyday. (Not really)

The boys got these fun disc shooter. Ben shot himself in the head and got a picture! haha

Jack is still having a blast with this. It was a great buy;)

They loved their baskets and they had so much fun. We had just as much fun watching. Don't mind the half dressed look. They had just gotten out of the tub and they hadn't gotten their new Easter clothes yet.

Done Easter Egg Hunt

Jack, Ben and Lily checking out their baskets.

Girlfriend lookin all cute!

Part of the crowd waiting for the hunt.

Still cute! Her tights remind me of the Wizard of Oz:)

Ben actually got it this year. He had so much fun. We always look forward to this every year. The Dones make breakfast for everyone in their circle and then they have a big egg hunt that goes from yard to yard.

Done Easter Egg Hunt #2

Jack was so good to point out eggs for Ben and get Lily some.

These were so cute. They were watermelon jelly beans that looked like they were seeds.

Ben lookin cute!

Ben and Madison waiting for the hunt.

Jack waiting.

Ambulance

Uncle Jed brought the ambulance over after the egg hunt and it was a huge hit with my boys. I can't believe I even got him to look at the camera.

My handsome Jack. he loves this kind of stuff.

My two boys. No, that is not a binky in Ben's mouth, it's a whistle shaped like rabbit teeth.

So cute!

All the Done cousins. Peyton, Ben, Madison, Jack and Lily.

Eggs and Fun

Look at my beautiful little doll. She pulls herself up to everything and crawls everywhere. She fell all the way down the stairs the other day:( I love her chubby sausage legs in her skinny jeans.

This makes me laugh. Ben LOVES to jump on the tramp, but so do all the big boys. They always wrestle and play fight and Ben wants to join in the fun. The boys are so good to let him play. They call him their minion and he just stomps around kicking and hitting and destroying the "other team". It's so funny to watch.

Jack watching the eggs turn color.

Ben just being so dang cute!

Catching Lil throwing her egg/Grandma Done on the floor. Little stinker!

Eggs!

Ben loved watching the eggs turn color, but he was a little too confident that he could do it himself.

Ben and Jack said this egg looked like Grandma MaryLynn. Haha. Not really a fair comparison. We love our beautiful Grandma Done. I think it's the short blond hair.

Lily loved the eggs. She loved to throw them until they broke and then she ate them, shells and all, when we weren't looking. She might have her Mother's love for eggs, she threw them up later.

Jack was old enough this year to do it all himself. I can't believe this is his 7th Easter. Goes way too fast.

Gross!

Jack came home from school and we had this conversation.

Jack: "Mom, there's this boy in my class that picks his nose and eats it!"
Me: "That is gross, but please don't make fun of him."
Jack: "I didn't, I just walked right over to him and said, "That's disgusting! You're not supposed to eat it. You just play with it for a while then put it in a tissue."

This would explain why we have had so many sickies this year.

Conversation between Jack and a friend he had over to play. Jack was waiting for him to come out of the bathroom.

Jack: "You forgot to wash your hands."
Friend: "Um......Actually.......I don't do that."
Jack: "Okay!"
They tried to run off to play, but I stopped them and made him wash his hands. I know, I'm a mean mommy!

I'm pretty sure that isn't a snack bowl......Yuck!

Look what I found Ben using as a snack bowl. I know, disgusting! I had to get some pictures before I totally flipped out. (If you were wondering that is the inside of his training potty.)
It even has the perfect handle for carrying your snack around.
He was keeping it behind him so Lily wouldn't sneak any. She didn't try very hard. I think she knew it was yucky!
And this is just because she is cute and sick. That is why she doesn't have a bow on. She is crawling EVERYWHERE!
