Samuel Mark Done

Introducing Samuel Mark Done!  Sam was born on Tuesday May 15, 2012 at 10:00 pm.  He weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 20 inches long.  He was a bit of a surprise but only by about 14 hours.  We had a scheduled c-section for noon on the 16th but he decided to come a little early.  I went into labor the day before and I'm so glad we decided to drive up early.  My contractions were about 3-5 minutes apart when I got to the hospital.  They gave me something to help slow the labor until my doc got there.  This little one is such an amazing blessing to us.  I have felt of his sweet spirit for months now and it was so exciting to finally meet him and have that spirit bless our home.  He is beautiful and perfect.  I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father for trusting me with this child.  I'm so grateful that I know Sam is a child of God and he has come straight from his arms.

Mommy seeing Sam for the first time.  This was about 11:30 p.m..  I was a very happy and grateful Mommy:) (And still really numb)
 So very tiny and beautiful.
Daddy so proud of his little man.  What a wonderful experience it is to have such a loving companion through all of this.

 Love it!
Mommy, Sam and Daddy.  Our little midnight family:)
Ben seeing Sam for this first time.  "He's sooooooo cute!"
I love this picture of Ben.  Everything is great in the world.
Lily seeing her baby for the first time.
Quite and understatement to say that she loves him!

I couldn't wait for this moment and it didn't disappoint.  They have been so excited for little baby Sam.  They had to come in the next day since he was born so late.
Trying to get a family picture.  Haha!
Jack with Sam.  Every morning Jack comes into my bed and we talk about Sam and how excited he was.  We had to get him out early from school and he was so excited to that Sam was coming.  It's so fun having an older child who really understands what is happening.  I look forward to watching Jack be a big brother and example to Sam.
You couldn't, and you can't, keep her off of him.
Holy cow!  I have four kids!  I have four cute kids:)
Benner with Sam.  I already made it very clear that it is Sam not Sammy, but my heart melts when Ben calls him "Little Baby Sammy".  Proud big brother who is really excited to have a little brother.
Like I said, she wouldn't stay away.
Lots and lots of kisses.  What a blessing it is to watch your kids love each other.  I'm so grateful for these amazing moments that we get to experience in life.  This is a moment I will never forget and will always cherish.  Welcome little Sam.  We love you!

Valentine's Day 2012

Daddy brought Lillian her own rose and she loved it!
These two sure have a special bond.
 Jack opening his Valentine's bucket.
Ben's Valentine's.  He had a black eye from falling off a "horsh".
Jack, Lily and Ben.  My 3 Valentine's!
Lily and her rose.  She loved it until an unknown thorn pricked her:(

Lily loves to get dressed and acessorize.  Every day I look forward to seeing what she puts together.
Notice the pink high-heels:)

We do our Easter baskets on Monday for Family Home Evening.
The kids really look forward to it.

 Lily loved finding her doll.
The boys jumped right into their parts to play Star Wars.
We had a great Easter.  We are so glad all the candy is gone and back to normal around here:)

Lily got a little impatient and just decided to leave this picture,
and dance and smile on the driveway:)
"Ben get that Reeses."  "This one? But I already have one."
 Jack got quite the load.
After Lily found chocolate she just wanted to eat every piece she could find.
Mason found the penny and gave it to Ben.  This was his prize.  We love being with family and having such a great time.

Easter 2012

The Girl knew she was pretty.  She walked around like a princess all day.  I bought her a blue dress to match her brothers, but when she saw this dress at the store she flipped out!
 My handsome boys!
Please stop growing!! How do I slow this boy down?
Trying to get a good picture of the three of them.
The sun was so bright and poor jack has very sensitive eyes.
She thought this bow from a present was a bracelet and wore it for a very long time.
Trying yet again to get a good picture.
 Ben
 I love having a girl!
I just love Lil's stance in this picture.  It reminds me of Alice In Wonderland.  Once again we were able to have an fhe lesson on our Savior and the last week of his life.  I couldn't believe how good and attentive my kids were.  Ben has such a love for Jesus and he hung on every word.  After the lesson we watched a bible video on Christ's last day.  When Ben saw the soldiers hurting Jesus Ben said, very seriously, "Me kick their bums!"  After Ben asked if he could be Jesus for Halloween.  The Spirit has been very strong in our home as we discuss and learn about our Savior.
