U.S.S. Midway

We were really excited to take the kids to the U.S.S. Midway. It is a docked air-craft carrier in San Diego that is now a museum. They give you earphones and you take yourself on a tour. You can go where ever you want. It was so awesome. We loved it and so did the boys.

This is our blue day picture in front of the Midway.

Ben was a completely different boy this day. His eyes had healed and he got a ton of sleep. He had so much fun climbing up and down all the steep stairs.

The boys in one of the showers.

This is the prison they have on board.

You get to touch and move everything.

Jack steering the ship.

One of the control rooms.

Ben was so excited. This is him doing the "Awesome Dance"!

They have a ton of cockpits that you can sit in and play. You can push all the buttons. The boys loved it, and so did I. At one point Jack told me that I was just the stewardess so that I would stop playing with their things.

My cute boys!

I LOVE this picture of Lily. She was so good the whole time. All the older people LOVED Lily. They all had something to say about her.

She loved the cockpits too.

Ben flying the plane

Jack flying the plane.

Ben and Daddy.

We got to go up where all the planes are and get in them.

The boys looked so small on this huge ship.

Jack got to go up in the captain's area.

Ben looks so tiny.

Just chillin on a Tomcat.

It was really hot up on deck. I can't imagine being there in the summer.

This picture makes me laugh:)

This is the sick bay, so we had to get a picture of all the kids coughing on beds. haha

Sick Benner's:)

Even Lily had a cough for us.

The boys in the dentist chair. This is something I would definitely recommend. We had so much fun and it was all very fascinating.

SeaWorld Day 1.2

On Monday we went to Sea World. I dressed them all in yellow, cause I'm like that;) This is after a very long day, especially for Ben. We had a lot of fun.

Mommy and Lily on the shuttle bus. We were within walking distance but it was nice to ride the shuttle.

I think this was the first time Ben smiled the whole day. His poor little eyes from the sunscreen that got in them at the beginning of the day.

Lily with her snow seal. She didn't love it.

The boys each chose a shamu and they are still holding onto them.

This pretty much sums up the day for Ben. He was so tired and his eyes were in bad shape. After a good sleep. Falling asleep at 5:00 am sleeping through the night, he was ready to go for the next day. The funniest part of the day was when we got back to the hotel room and Jack said," These pants are squeezing the he%# out of me!" We couldn't stop laughing for a minute to explain to him that that is not a good word. It was great!

SeaWorld Day 1.1

Me and Jack at the Shamu show. You can't tell, but we had just been soaked on a ride. He loved this show. I will never forget the look on his face when the whale jumped out of the water for the first time. It seriously brought a tear to my eye. He leaned over to me and said, "I know what I want to be when I grow up!" It was amazing.

Lily and Daddy at the Shamu show.

Benner's eyes hurt and he hated the shark tank, but the next day he loved it.

Jack watching the dolphin show. He loved it. It was so hot and bright. He had to wear my sunglasses.

Girlfriend did a lot of this as we walked around the park.

SeaWorld Day 1

Poor Benner did not like the rides. That first morning I sprayed sunscreen and it got it in his eyes and ruined his day. I felt so bad. He just wanted to sleep all day and cry. It was a bad mommy moment (or day.) We were very grateful that we didn't attempt Disneyland. It would have been horrible with Ben hating rides.

The boys on the AbbyCaddaby ride. Poor Ben's eyes. It makes me so sad.

This poor man in the Shamu costume. It was really hot! Ben didn't want to get near him.

I tried each day to dress them alike. This was yellow day. They looked so cute and people kept commenting on them.

Isn't she gorgeous?! I can't tell you how many people stopped and commented on her. One Creepy old lady started taking a million pictures of her! Weird! She always had her big bows in her hair and no one really does that outside of Utah so maybe that is what was attracting people to her. That and she's so stinkin cute!

Scavenger Hunt

We have been planning a trip to San Diego for a while, but we decided not to tell the kids until the night before. We made up a little scavenger hunt that went around the house.

One clue led to Jack's ATAT.

One clue led to Ben's toilet.

At the last clue Jack had to scan his finger on the computer and a picture of Sea World came up.

They yelled and screamed and did the Happy Dance. It was so much fun and brought a tear to my eye. It was hard to get them to bed that night. Ben wanted to go then. We told them we would wake them up in the middle of the night and start driving.
