We meet in our room for family prayers and then we let the kids run in. Jack's priceless face.
Ben was quite cautious so he made me hold him. He thought Santa was going to be in our living room:)
Still unsure of it all.
The kids discovering the treats in their stockings.
I had to help Lil for the first present, a new Christmas Dress.
Ben got a "green train". He was thrilled with it.
Jack telling Lily how to open the presents.
The boys got matching swords and shields.
They still play with these every day.
It didn't take Lily long to catch on. She opened this present and saw the doll. She couldn't get it out fast enough.
She took it out and laid it on her new couch.
And gave it a kiss:) So stinking cute:)
Ben had been asking for a new Buzz for months since our other one broke.
He was so excited to get it, but hardly plays with it. He just knew we needed a replacement.
Jack had a letter that said to look downstairs.
This was him pretending to faint when he saw what was downstairs.
A new bike!
He needed one so bad!
Jack and Ben were both given awesome Star Wars toys! They loved them!
Pointing out all the cool stuff it does.
After Lily opened her doll there was nothing else in the world but her and that doll:)
Christmas was on Sunday this year, which is one of my favorite things. After presents we went to church. I love going to Church on Christmas and celebrating our Savior. Reminds you of what the season is all about. The Done's moved their party to the next day so we just stayed at home and had the best time. I'm so grateful for the humble way our Savior entered this world and that our Father sent him so we could be happy forever. What a wonderful season:)
