Halloween 2011

Lily was a rag doll and it was the stinkin-cutest costume EVER!

Buzz, Doll and Commander Cody ready to go trick-o-treating.

As cute as can be!

You can never have too many pictures of this girl in this costume. She loved it and kept her hat on for over 2 hours. I didn't let her go trick-or-treating so she helped me answer the door with me. Even the (way too old) teenage boys commented on how she was the cutest thing they had ever seen:)

"Ben Lightyear to the rescue!" He LOVED Halloween this year. He couldn't believe that people just gave you candy. I let them just eat their candy as much as they want. That way it's gone with in a few days and I don't have to worry about it. Ben had his gone the quickest! He flew around the house for a few weeks before and after the holiday:)

My little Commander Cody (Star Wars). He was all about teaching Ben how to trick-or-treat. He is now too old to steal candy from. He has it all counted and knows to only give away the not-so-good stuff:)

This is what Lily did both nights of making goo and painting pumpkins.

We made "GOO" one night while Brendan was at meetings. Jack loved it. Ben wouldn't touch it, and it made Lily cry.

Painting pumpkins. This is much cleaner than carving and my kids like it a lot more:)

Jack painting his pumpkin.

I'm not really sure what this face is, but it's funny! (Ben, not the pumpkin:) We had a great Halloween filled with family parties and morning (all day) sickness, but it sure was fun!

Ben is 3!

The three cutest boys in the world! (Can't wait to add another one). We celebrated both the boy's birthdays on Ben's day with the family.

Daddy and Ben blowing out the candles.

Cute picture of their puffed cheeks.

Don't they make you melt?!

So proud of his orange train cake!

For months before his birthday all Ben talked about was an orange train cake. It was fun to make and even more fun when I saw how much he loved it. He kept getting up on the counter to look at it before everyone got there. When we tried to get a picture of him with it he wouldn't stop staring at it to look at the camera. When all was sang and done he wouldn't let me cut it (good thing we had R2-D2 #2). It sat on our counter for a week until I was able to throw it away. Haha, too funny!

Ben and his Geo Trax train. He loved it!

Where do I even start with this boy? This boy takes a lot! But as hard as he is he is 10,000x more fun. He is funny, seriously I laugh so hard everyday. He calls everyone "poopy guy". He loves to sing, but only what he wants to. He tells me 25 times a day, "Me wove you mommy!" He is a very picky eater and has major texture issues, but we are figuring it out. He loves to get his way. When he gets in trouble he finds a way to make you laugh so he can get out of it. He is a screamer! He has always been good at going to nursery and now that he is a Sunbeam he goes really well. He loves his nursery leader, Sis Johansen.....almost in a stalking way. He loves his new teacher, Jobi. He loves potty words. 75% of the words that come out of his mouth are potty words. He loves to play and watch movies. This little boy is a light in my world and I am so grateful for him. What a blessing humor is in our lives. I can wait for the day that his teacher calls us to pick him up for breaking the rules and she is trying not to laugh as she tells us what he's done. I'm so grateful for our Benner's!

Jack is 7!

Jack's 7 year old birthday party! It was Star Wars themed. They all had to become true jedi's to earn their rewards. Lots of fun really well behaved boys.

Ben and Jack in their Star War's costumes before the party. Cute little boys!

R2-D2 cake for Jack. It turned out pretty cute. (At least they could all tell what it was;)

Blowing out the candles.

They all had to fight Darth Vadar to become a "True Jedi".

On September 24th my little Jack turned 7.....yes, 7! He is so grown up. What a delight he is in our lives. I can still remember the little boy that was always at my side. The older he gets the more independent he gets and it kind of makes me sad. He doesn't really need me to read to him anymore and he is old enough to go to school all day and not really miss me:( I love/hate watching him make his own decisions and go off on his own. He really is the best big brother. Now, don't get me wrong. He fights plenty with his siblings, but He also takes the best care of them. I love watching him through the window when Ben is playing with him and his friends outside. Jack takes such good care of him and stands up for him all the time. He loves to read and reads everything he can get his eyes on. He loves to read to Ben and Lily and they love it too. He often comes into me and asks me if there is anything he can help me with. Every morning he comes into my room and we have the best little talks about his dreams and what he is excited about that day. Every day he brings up how excited he is about the new baby. (He loves babies) I know when I send him to someone's house he is going to be good. We just had a scripture challenge with our ward and he worked hard on it everyday. I love this little one to bits and I can't wait to watch him grow into a young man......but not too fast:)

Bear Lake 2011

Back in July we went on our yearly Done trip to Bear Lake. This was taken our last night (notice all the sunburned faces:)

Lily and Daddy.

Lily and Mommie's camping face:)

Grandma and Grandpa done with kids.

Jack

Ben

Lily

This picture makes me laugh. Lily looks like she is praying.

Jack loves the lake. He played all day, every day.

Poor Benner got pneumonia the week before and was not feeling well at all! All he wanted to do was sit and drink "orange rootbeer". The mountain air was really good for him.

Lily and cousin Brooklynn at the lake.

Lily loved the water. She couldn't walk yet, but she loved when I walked her around.

Ben never took his sunglasses off! He wore them the whole time.

Jack and Ben eating breakfast.

Lily loved to eat the dirt.

Lily and Mommy at the lake

Grandma Done with Lily and Ben. Ben was so spoiled. Grandma had all sorts of chips , treats and drinks for him. He didn't feel good, so I didn't care.

The Done Family. Grandma, Ben, Madison, Peyton, Jed, Hillary, Scott, Dallen, Grandpa, Jack, Brendan, Lily and me.

Me and my hot hubby!

Jack jumping in the mud puddles.

Daddy and Ben making a water trap to play in. The one time Ben actually got out of the chair and had fun.

Lily knew how to relax at the beach:)

Every day before going to the beach grandma had something fun for the kids to do. Here's Jack making a robot.

Ben making his robot. He looks so skinny:(

Madison, Jack, Ben and Peyton. This was their special little table and they loved it!

Lily and Daddy playing in the hammock. This was a favorite place.

The kids all got new chairs and LOVED them. We had to watch Lily really close. She loved to stand up in hers. We were supposed to go up the whole week, but with Benner getting sick we had to wait until Tuesday. We bought a tent heater this year and that really helped. Also, Grandma's trailor was a nice clean place to get out of the sun and take a shower. We had so much fun and can't wait to go again:) Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun week.
