My New Camera

My new camera. I love it! I haven't learned how to use it yet, but I am going to play until I do.

Hey Ruth

That is so fun that you got a new camera. It looks like soon you will be in charge of taking family pictures. That picture turned out great of Jack and Ben. How cute.

Hey Ruth, Yes I loved the Glass Castle! Probably one of my favorites from last year. It was crazy to read what her parents allowed them to do! I thought the whole story was was hilarious...but then I reminded myself that it was a true story and couldn't believe that people would actually raise their kids that way.

A thousand splendid suns, I haven't read that one yet but I did read the Kite Runner. And I have mixed feelings about it. I loved it but at the same time it made me so sad and mad! I guess a good book is supposed to bring out all sorts of emotions :) Should I read A Thousand Splendid Suns? I have heard it is really good. Have you read The Road (by Cormac Mcarthy)?
